The mudroom/laundry room addition made it possible to open up the floor plan of this beautiful home. By removing a few walls and incorporating the existing laundry room, these homeowners were able to create the kitchen of their dreams.
The mudroom/laundry room features a drop zone area for a family on the go and ample storage options. A custom dog wash station was also added. The new layout with many additional cabinets allows the family easy access to spices, baking ingredients, and appliances. Ceramic subway tile adds the finishing touches to this kitchen. This young family will be able to enjoy many years of teaching their children the art of cooking.
Opening up entryways into the living room and dining room, as well as adding some larger windows allows more opportunities to enjoy the great views around the home. Oak hardwood floors were added to the kitchen and refinished throughout the rest of the house. A modest remodel to the main floor bathroom to improve functionality rounds out this project.
